Shayla Aikens
STYLIST/COLOR SPECIALIST
Shayla has had a passion for making people feel and look beautiful through hair for almost a decade. She started her cosmetology journey in High School by attending school through Salt Lake Community College. Earning her degree in Cosmetology, she has worked at several salons in Salt Lake City. Shayla also participated in Salt Lake City's second Salon Wars. She helped design and execute various characters for her salons' "Alice in Wonderland" themed fashion show, specifically focusing on the Dodo Bird. She has also attended several hair shows and classes to extend her knowledge of various techniques and products. Shayla was born and raised in Millcreek, Utah. She grew up doing martial arts becoming a third degree black belt in Taekwondo and state champion multiple years in a row. She brings that same dedication when she is doing hair. Shayla spends most of her free time traveling and enjoying the company of family and friends.
